摘要
从19世纪60年代起,以李鸿章为核心的淮系集团在创办淮军、近代军事工业和近代海军的同时,深感近代化军事人才的缺乏,旧式的军事教育又根本无法提供,所以他们积极倡导并投身于近代的军事教育事业。他们创办军事学堂和派遣留学生,开始培养近代化的军事人才,为晚清的军事近代化作出了巨大的贡献。
From the 1860s,the huaixi-group with Li Hongzhang at the core set up Huai-army,modern military industry and modern naval military.Besides,they deeply felt the lack of modern military personnel,while old military education could not provide the new talent at all.Therefore,they were actively engaged in sparkpluging and throwing themselves into modern military education.They founded military schools and sent students abroad to train modern military personnel,and made tremendous contributions for the late Qing dynasty＇s military modernization.
