Cultivating the Core Socialist Value System in the College Students

大学生是社会主义现代化建设的生力军,在大学生中培植社会主义核心价值体系是各级党组织的一项艰巨的政治使命。要做好这项工作,必须把当代社会思潮发展的趋势、培养造就合格接班人的要求、反击国际敌对势力图谋的形势、巩固马克思主义指导地位的现实需要以及完善建立良性工作机制与大学生的思想、生活、学习实际紧密结合,以更高的标准和要求使他们不断树立崇高的精神,不断强化政治意识和责任意识。

College students are a vital force in achieving the socialist modernization. Cultivating the core socialist value system in the college students is an arduous political mission of the party organizations at all levels. In order to carry out this work, we must combine closely the college students＇ thoughts, living and learning with the development trend of the contemporary social thoughts, the requirements of training qualified successors, the situation of countering the international hostile forces＇ attempts, the realistic need to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism, as well as improving the working mechanism. And meanwhile, we must require the students to foster noble spirits and to enhance political awareness and sense of responsibility with higher standards and requirements.
