石棉尾矿中的主要矿物是蛇纹石，根据其矿物特征、化学组成及其物理化学性质，经加工处理，可成为生产品质优良的日用陶瓷的原料，并可降低烧成温度。
Main mineral of the tailings is serpentine. According to the characteristics and chemical composition and physico-chemical properties of the tailings, the proccessed tailings can be used as fine raw material of ceramic for daily uses. The sintering temperatare for the ceramic can be cut down.
