Study on the Relation between New Rural Construction and Social Capital

新农村建设的核心在于增强农民发展能力,社会资本是农民发展的关键因素。社会资本主要由信任、人际关系网络和规范三个重要部分组成,社会资本在促进农村经济发展、农民团结合作、规范经营行为、获取外部资源、降低交易成本等方面具有重要的作用。同时农村经济的发展也加快了社会资本积累。

The key point of new rural construction is enhancing the developing ability of farmers, and the key point of development of farmers is social capital. The social capital consists of three major parts： trust, social network and standard, and it plays an important role in promoting rural economic development and cooperation of farmers, regulating management, obtaining external resources and reduce the cost of trade etc. Meanwhile, the development of rural economy also speed up the accumulation of social capital.
