By means of a newly developed computer program and the conception of simulation of crops, the consumption ratio of chemical fertilizers in agriculture in China is predicted. This new estimate of consumption ratio conforms to the national conditions and will have a certain effect on the production of chemical fertilizers and the growth of the national economy.
