明清贵族家具从《红楼梦》谈起

A Research into the Furniture Used in Noble Life in Ming and Qing Dynasties from the Description of "Dream of the Red Chamber"

曹雪芹著写的《红楼梦》是以明清贵族生活为蓝本的一部巨著,其中对贵族生活的各种情景中使用的不同类型的家具有非常细腻的描摹。通过《红楼梦》,我们可以借由文字的描写,尝试复原各种家具的具体形制、材质、工艺和装饰手法,从而帮助我们真切地了解明清贵族生活中使用的家具,以及每种家具不同的使用场合和使用方式。换言之,通过研究《红楼梦》中贵族生活使用的家具,我们也窥见了明清时代贵州生活的真实画卷。

The masterpiece ＂Dream of the Red Chamber＂ written by Cao Xueqin is based on the noble life in Ming and Qing dynasties, in which all kinds of different furniture used in various scenarios were depicted with plenty of details. From the literal description of this book, we try to regain the specific details of forms, materials, crattsmanship and decorations of the furniture, and gain a vivid understanding of the furniture used in different conditions of noble life during this period of time. In other words, from the study of the fumitttre, we can in turn get a good grasp of what the noble life was in Ming and Qing dynasties.
