In this paper, analysis focuses on the drum space of Puerta de Toledo public library designed by Spanish architect Juan Navarro. Then with comparative reading of Pantheon, such analysis is unfolded at both urban and architectural levels, in order to reveal the strategies, dealing with traditional space, and the implicit thoughtful judgments behind.
