As a typical representative of classical furniture, the forms and decoration marks express a certain cultural information and social property all long. In this paper, the legs of Chairs are looked upon as the key point and compared with in the decorations and shapes between China and West,which reflect the different cultures, ways of thinking. Radically those make us realize that the culture of classical Chairs in design is deep and sophisticated. At the same time, it will give designers some enlightenment in the product design.
