The paper analyzed the meaning o f humanistic education .Based on understanding profoundly meaning of humanistic education idea, it discussed enlightenment of the meaning of humanistic education. Research carried out in teaching objective, teaching content, teaching method, physical education teacher and teaching appraising. At last it provided fundamental basis and practical experience for university physical education teaching.
