This paper traces, from the late 19th century, different literary strategies and destinies of Ameriean Chinese women writers realizing their political ambitions to reconstruct American Chinese identity politics, involving some works by writers of different generations, like Huang Yuxue, Tang Tingting and Tan Enmei, etc. Further analyses of challenges from ethnic internality related to the issues of gender and ethnic identity have virtually brought prominent reputation for American Chinese women authors after the Civil Right Movement in America and have initiated their probe into literature art beyond identity politics.
