小说创作美学之一端:确立小说的核心矛盾——以“宝玉挨打”为例

An Analysis of One Aspect in Aesthetics of Literary Creation:the Establishment of Core Contradictions in Fiction

论文以《红楼梦》第33回《手足耽耽小动唇舌不孝种种大承笞挞》贾宝玉挨打为例,解析小说创作的美学品格之一——确立小说的核心矛盾。文章讨论了确立小说核心矛盾的价值判断及其哲学基础。它是小说创作美学的重要原则,又是小说创作美学的一个艺术手法。使用这一艺术手法显示了突出的艺术品格,就当前来讲,它有自己变化了的外在表现形式:1.被直接、正面描写的主体事件;2.以一个人物作为核心矛盾;3.改变主要人物的生活环境;4.一个"物件"作为情景的焦点;5.一句话也可能成为小说核心矛盾;6.将主要故事或主要刻画的对象,尤其是人物形象变形或变异它们都是确立小说核心矛盾的一种形式。

Taking as an example the beating of Bao Yu in Chapter Thirty-three of A Dream of the Red Mansion, this paper aims to analyze one aspect of aesthetics in novel writing-the establishment of core contradictions in fiction. In this paper, a discussion is made on the value judgment and philosophical basis in the establishment of core contradictions in the novel, which is an artistic skill as well as a key principle in the aesthetics of novel creation. The adoption of such a skill has highlighted the artistic quality of the novel, as is evident outwardly as follows： （ 1 ） major events directly described; （2） the core contradiction constituted by one characfer; （3）the living situation affecting the life of characters; （4）the focal point with an object as its dropback, etc. , any of which can be a way to establish the core contradiction of the novel.
