With the socio-economic recession, the culture in Huaibei reversed dramatically after the late Ming Dynasty. Huaibei, originally an advanced cultural place, transferred to a region where had a high regard for violence because living resources were extremely scarce. The worship of WU Song and Bandit Zhe was a typical reflection of this transformation. This worship, on one hand, reflected the negative attitude of people who could not figure a class expected martial arts character become their savior, on the other hand, people took action easily in accordance with the martial arts character to resolve disputes in reality. It eventually became the potential factors of feud that caused this region to a banditry world.
