涉外护理专业英语教学改革的探索与实践

Research and reform in English teaching for international nursing education

目的探索与实践专科层次的涉外护理专业英语教学改革，提高护理专业学生英语水平，适应国际护理市场需求。方法优化英语教学大纲，创设语言环境，开展国际交流活动，加强专业英语教学。结果护理专业学生大学英语四六级考试通过率大大提高；参加雅思A类考试的2名学生成绩分别达到5．5分和6．0分；能够使用英语完成护士的基本工作。结论通过英语教学改革与实践，探索我国护理教育与国际接轨的途径，创造护理专业学生进入国际市场的机会。

Objective This paper is to explore the English teaching reform for international nursing education in China, in order to improve the English level of Chinese nursing professionals, thus to meet the needs of the market of international nursing. Methods The following reforms are implemented： optimizing the curriculum; creating English language environments; holding students exchange programs; strengthening professional English teaching. Results Graduates are able to pass CET4 and CET6, and finish fundamental nursing tasks with English. Conclusions With the reform and practice, a Chinese international nursing education model which could meet the international standards has been developed and at the same time opportunity would be created for nursing students to join the international working environment.
