基于P2P的IPTV技术应用综述

AN OVERVIEW OF THE APPLICATION OF P2P BASED IPTV TECHNOLOGY

随着网络带宽的改善,基于流媒体直播的多媒体服务受到了越来越多的关注,IPTV(Internet Protocol Television)成为了其中的热门话题。P2P技术的出现,使得基于P2P模式的IPTV系统得到了广泛应用。对基于P2P的IPTV系统的相关研究成果和技术特点进行了分析总结,并指出了该技术目前所面临的难点和相关的解决途径。

With the improvement of network bandwidth, multimedia services based on streaming media live broadcasting are gaining growing attention recently ,among them IPTV has become a hot topic. After the emergence of Peer-to-Peer （P2P） technology ,P2P based IPTV systems are widely applied. In this paper,we analyze and summarize the related research productions and technology characteristics of P2P based IPTV systems. Furthermore, we also point out the difficulties the technology faced and the correlative solutions.
