摘要
文章使用101家中国证券公司2007年的一组数据,采用数据包络分析方法研究了它们的效率,并利用TOB IT回归模型鉴别和确定了决定效率高低的因素。结果表明:中国证券公司的整体效率水平比较低,通过评审公司和待评审公司相比具有一定效率优势,公司规模对效率的影响十分微弱,公司历史长短、类型、注册地点和外资参股等因素会以不同的方式影响效率。
This paper uses a data set of 101 companies in 2007 to evaluate their efficiency scores applying a DEA approach. It then employs TOBIT regression models to identify the key determinants of efficiency. The empirical results suggest that the efficiency of China＇s securities companies is low, companies through assessment have an advantage of efficiency over the others, scale has little effect on efficiency, life- span, type, registered address and foreign share all affect efficiency in different ways.
