By relating the experience of ophthalmic clinical teaching, the paper points out that simulation surgical training is an important means in residents＂ skill training and has many special advantages that real clinical practice cannot match. It can upgrade residents＇microsurgical skills, create a safe learning enviroment, and provide the basis for residents＇ staged assessment.
