This article introduced the dissolved organic matter （DOM） concept of soil, and composition and classification system. And summed up the DOM of the three major effects of heavy metals in the soil line. DOM were dissolved and the precipitation of heavy metals influence on the heavy metal analysis - the effects of absorption and bioavailability of the impact of heavy metals. And dissolved organic matter in soil study the problems and prospects for future research directions.
