Reasons on the Low Utilization Rate of Foreign Periodicals in University Library and the Strategies

外文期刊的利用率过低是高校图书馆普遍存在的一个现状。利用率很低的原因有很多,应采取多种措施来提高外文期刊的利用率,使之在教学科研中发挥重要的作用。

The relatively low utilization rate of the foreign periodicals is one of the common problems among universities.This paper proposes possible solutions based on the reasons and the authors＇ working experiences to make the foreign periodicals play an important role in teaching and research.
