叶圣陶先生笔耕逾半个多世纪,创作了大量的以教育界、学校生活为题材的教育小说,被钱杏邨称为是现代中国文坛上的教育小说作家。他描写教育界知识分子的生活境况,塑造了一大批真实多元的知识分子形象。这些人物中,有面临经济困顿、理想泯灭、对社会无奈的教员,更有具有反抗精神,为改变自身的生存处境、为实现自己的理想而不断奋斗的知识分子。这些知识分子人生价值观的选择对我们当下教育工作者仍具有参照意义。

Ye Shengtao earned a living by pen for more than half a century,and wrote a lot of novels which took the educational circles and campus life as the material.He was called the educational novel writer in modern China literary arena by Qian Xingcun.He described the life circumstance of intellectuals in educational circle and portrayed large quantities of real and multi-dimensional intellectual images.These figures,faced with economic hardship and against one＇s ideals to society＇s choice,or with the spirit of resistance to change in the survival of their own situation in order to realize their ideals.Their choice of life values still had its reference significance to current people.
