The Winding Ba Mountains, the Surrounding Yu Waters, Building Cities Against Hills and Living Along Rivers

通过对重庆市万盛区南桐镇山地城镇空间结构的研究,结合自然环境特色、地域文化特色、建筑风貌特色,对南桐镇中心片区风貌规划设计进行了探讨,力图克服现代城镇千篇一律的通病,提出了通过山、水、城的有机融合来象征重庆"巴山延绵、渝水环绕、依山筑城、沿江而居"的城市特性,营造出具有浓郁地方特色的山地城镇空间环境。

This paper explores the landscape planning and design of the central area of Nantong Town through studying the space structure of the hilly Natong Town, Wansheng District, Chongqing, in combination with the natural environment, the regional cultural characteristics and architectural style characteristics, trying to overcome the common problems of modern towns with the similar arrangement, and has put forward a concept that highlights the space environment with striking features of the mountain town by integrating the town with the winding Ba mountains, the surrounding Yu waters, building cities against hills and living along rivers.
