摘要
日本的大学评估经历了自我评估、外部评估和认证评估三个阶段,与此同时,在日本学界围绕着大学评估也是论争不断,这些论争主要围绕着"为什么评估"(目的论)、"由谁评估"(主体论)、"评估什么"(对象论)、"如何评估"(方法论)来展开。认识日本大学评估的发展及其论争,无疑对我们深入思考中国的大学评估具有帮助。
University appraisal in Japan has gone through a three-stage development: self-appraisal, exterior appraisal and accreditaion appraisal. At the same time, the debate over this issue has never ended in the academic circle, focusing on "why to appraise" (teleology), "who to appraise (subject), "appraise what" (object) and "how to appraise" (methodology). A knowledge of the development and debate of Japanese university appraisal would be a great help to ponder upon China's university appraisal thoroughly.
