AWGN信道IR通信调制参数估计方法研究

摘要 以TH-PPM调制方式为例,研究了单用户AWGN信道中冲激无线电(IR)通信调制参数估计方法。定义了"波达时刻差分序列",发现该差分序列具有"能级"结构,分析了不同检波条件下"能级"结构的特点及其与各调制参数的关系,提出了利用聚类分析方法分离"能级",以统计分析方法求取能级参数,利用上述关系进行调制参数估计的新方法。仿真实验表明了方法的有效性与稳健性,当脉冲检波过程中存在高达40%的误检概率(其中漏检概率20%、虚检概率20%)时,该方法仍然获得了较高的估计精度。另外,该方法具有普适性,其基本思想可推广应用于IR通信的其他调制方式,例如TH-BPSK,DS-SS等。 Taking TH-PPM modulation method for example, a means of modulation parameter estimation for individual impulse radio (IR) users in AWGN channel is proposed in this paper. By defining a differential form of IR pulse arriving time sequence (DATS), the energy level (EL) structure in DATS and its relationships with the TH-PPM modulation parameters in variant pulse detecting conditions is discovered. After extracting every EL from DATS by cluster analysis, the statistical estimation of the EL parameters is carried out. TH-PPM parameters can be obtained simply by referring to the above-mentioned relationships. Simulations indicate that highly precise estimation is made possible by the proposed method, despite the 40% error probability (20% false probability and 20% miss probability) in DATS. In addition, the basic ideas of this method can also be applied to other means of IR modulation, such as TH-BPSK, DS-SS, etc.
