基于亚取样分形插值的图像编码方法

摘要 基于分形吸引子与尺度无关的特点,提出了基于分形插值的图像编码方法。该方法对原始图像的亚取样图像进行分形编码,并将编码结果作为原始图像的近似分形码,在图像重建时,对原始图像的近似分形码进行分形插值解码,得到原始图像的逼近。实验结果表明,在压缩比和恢复图像质量受损不大的情况下,编码速度可提高近6倍。 A method of speeding up the fractal image coding process is proposed based on the fact that fractal attractor is independent of scales While encoding, the original image with N*N pixels is firstly decimated into a smaller image with (N/2)*(N/2) pixels; then,the decimated image is encoded with fractal technique and its fractal codes are taken as the codes of the original image As for decoding,the original image is reconstructed with fractal interpolation method according to the fractal codes Experimental results show that the encoding time is reduced to 1/6 as that of the typical fractal encoding process with little degradation of the reconstructed image quality
