摘要
基于分形吸引子与尺度无关的特点,提出了基于分形插值的图像编码方法。该方法对原始图像的亚取样图像进行分形编码,并将编码结果作为原始图像的近似分形码,在图像重建时,对原始图像的近似分形码进行分形插值解码,得到原始图像的逼近。实验结果表明,在压缩比和恢复图像质量受损不大的情况下,编码速度可提高近6倍。
A method of speeding up the fractal image coding process is proposed based on the fact that fractal attractor is independent of scales While encoding, the original image with N*N pixels is firstly decimated into a smaller image with (N/2)*(N/2) pixels; then,the decimated image is encoded with fractal technique and its fractal codes are taken as the codes of the original image As for decoding,the original image is reconstructed with fractal interpolation method according to the fractal codes Experimental results show that the encoding time is reduced to 1/6 as that of the typical fractal encoding process with little degradation of the reconstructed image quality
