"爱V不V"构式表达"听凭选择"的语义和"不满"的感情色彩。在语言经济原则的驱动下,"爱V不V"构式由"爱V(或)不V,(我无所谓/是你自己的事)"经过紧缩和省略而成。"爱V不V"构式的固化过程主要表现为语法化和主观化,其间伴随着"爱V不V"的语义延伸。由于高频使用,该构式的成员之一"爱理不理"的主观化程度更高,且其形式和语义已经词汇化。
The construction of ‘ai V bu V’ implicates that the speaker is displeased and leaves the hearer to his or her discretion. In conformity with the principle of economy, the construction of ‘ai V bu V’ has come as a result of the contraction and ellipsis of ‘ai V or bu V (I don’t care / it’s up to you to…)’. The meaning extension of ‘ai V bu V’ has occurred in tandem with its stabilization mainly through grammaticalization and subjectivization. As a typical instance of this construction, ‘ai li bu li’ (ignore) has undergone a high degree of subjectivization and lexicalization due to frequent use.
