Technical Modification of After-expanding Purging Device for Large-sized SSAW Pipe

中国石油集团渤海装备钢管制造公司针对大直径直缝埋弧焊管扩径后冲洗装置不能将钢管内外壁上残留的扩径油和乳化液冲洗干净,钢管质量达不到出厂要求的问题,对冲洗装置的关键部件——冲洗头和喷嘴进行了技术改进,彻底解决了所存在的问题,提高了钢管的冲洗质量及冲洗装置的工作效率。

The after-expanding purging device failed to completely clear the large-sized SSAW pipe of the remaining oil and emulsion on its inner/outer surfaces as from the expanding process, and thus failed to meet the ex-works quality criteria of the pipe. Addressing the problem, the company has taken relevant technical measures to get the hard nut crushed, mainly including technical modification of the key components of the device, i.e., the purging head and the spray nozzles so as to get the purging quality of the pipes and the operation efficiency of the equipment enhanced.
