摘要
日本是近海主要经济蟹类之一。自用蟹笼兼捕日本取得成功以来，使日本资源得到逐步开发利用。本文根据1991－1993年有关调查试验资料，报导舟山近海日本基本生物学特征、生活习性、繁殖生长、渔获物群体组成、资源分布等，探讨日本的笼捕方法，最后提出了日本资源开发利用的若干建议。
As main species of the economical crabs, the utilization of Charybdis japonica, which was succesfully caught with the crab cage-trap, has been developed. This paper presented the basic biological characteritics, habit, reproduction, grouth, stock composition, resource distribution of Charybdis japonica, discussed the fishing method with the crab cage-trap,and put forward several recommendations of the resource developement and utilization.
