一种DFM多通道MIDI乐音合成器芯片的设计

摘要 为了简化MIDI乐音产生过程,详细阐述了一种基于DFM的多通道MIDI乐音合成器芯片的整体架构及其关键技术。该乐音合成器芯片内置一个乐音存储器和一个寄存器,具有两种乐音产生模式:9种旋律音或者6种旋律音和5种节奏音,且两种模式下均可同时输出不同的乐音。利用Cadence平台对各个子模块及整体电路进行仿真,结果表明各项指标均达到设计要求。 In order to simplify the generating process of MIDI musical sound, the framework and its essential technologies of a mutil - channel MIDI musical sound synthesizer are described based on DFM method. This synthesizer takes use of an internal memory for musical sound and an internal register. It has two modes for generating musical sound, one is 9 kinds of melody, another is 6 kinds of melody and 5 kinds of rhythm. And it can simultaneously output different musical sound in two modes. The simulation results of every sub - module and the whole circuit on Cadence system show that it satisfies the design requirements.
