尿路感染患儿血、尿IL-8变化及其意义

Change of Interleukin-8 Levels in the Serum and Urine of Children with Urinary Tract Infections

采用ELISA双抗体夹心法测定48例尿路感染（UTI）患儿血清及尿IL-8浓度。结果表明，尿IL-8浓度显著高于正常对照组；尿IL-8浓度与尿WBC数呈正相关；上UTI患儿血清IL-8显著高于对照组，而不UTI患儿血清IL-8不升高。提示尿IL-8主要是由泌尿道局部产生，并可能与WBC渗入尿中有关。

Interleukin - 8(IL - 8 )of the serum and urine was determined with ELISA method in 48 children with urinary tract infections (UTI)and 20 normal children. It was revealed that the urine IL - 8 levels increased significantly in children with UTI compared with that in the controls There was significant positivc correlation between the urine IL - 8 levels and white cell counts in urine. The serum IL - 8 levels increased significntly in children with upper UTI compared with that in the controls. but the serum IL - 8 levels did not increase in children with lower UTI. These results suggest that the urine IL - 8 increased may mainly derves from urinary tract and IL - 8 may be involved in inducing leukocyte migration into the urinary tract Determination of IL - 8 levels in serum and urine may contribute to diagnosis and classification.
