Review and Evaluation of Chinese Language Teaching in Primary Schools since the Reform and Opening-up

摘要 改革开放30年来,语文教育教学理念不断刷新,从致力于培养能力、发展智力,到培养素质、提高素养,对语文教学目标和任务的认识渐趋完善。30年小学语文教学发展历程大致可分三个阶段:第一个阶段(1978~1991年),主要特征为培养语文能力和发展智力;第二个阶段(1992~2000年),主要特征为实施素质教育和加强语文训练;第三个阶段(2001年以来),主要特征为提高语文素养和加强语文实践。30年来小学语文教育在课程、教材、教法、教学评价与教学研究等诸领域取得了令人瞩目的成绩,但也有不少问题需要我们反思和检讨。 The rationale of Chinese language teaching has been changed since the 30 years' reform and opening-up. From the capacity-building and intelligence-developing to the quality-building and improving, peoples' understanding on Chinese teaching objectives and missions are becoming more and more clear. Chinese language teaching in primary schools can be divided into three stages over the 30 years. The main features of the first stage (1978 - 1991) are language-proficiency building and intellect developing. The main features of second stage (1992 - 2000) are implementing quality education and strengthening language training. The main features of third stage (2001 -) are improving the Chinese accomplishment and strengthening Chinese practice. Although remarkable achievements of the primary Chinese Language education has been made in the curriculum, teaching materials, teaching, teaching evaluation and teaching research and other areas, there also exist many problems , which need to be reflected and reviewed.
