摘要
词汇是语言的三大要素之一,是外语教学的基础。但调查结果表明高校英语专业学生的主动词汇量远远少于被动词汇量。高校英语专业教师应对此进行思考,设计出更加有效的教学方案,加强学生对词汇深度知识的掌握,帮助学生摆脱在运用新学词汇时的心理焦虑,营造适宜的语言环境,提高学生对词汇的实际运用能力,最终将被动词汇转化为主动词汇。
Vocabulary is one of the three main factors of a language, and is the fundamental element in the course of foreign language teaching. However, the results of some surveys suggest the college English majors acquire much more passive vocabulary than active vocabulary. To respond to the problem, teachers must think it over and work out better teaching plans to enhance the students' deep knowledge of some vocabulary, help the students get rid of the psychological anxiety when they attempt to use the new words, create proper language environment, improve the students' ability of using vocabulary, transform the passive vocabulary into the active vocabulary.
