摘要
本文对世界制造业取得卓越绩效的艾默生集团公司上世纪60年代以来的战略规划体系发展及其创新进行了案例研究。在对艾默生公司战略规划的发展过程、核心内容、组织流程和时间周期描述的基础上,分析了公司规划体系的"两栖型"内容创新、"一体化"组织创新和"独特性"的规划工具创新等特征,指出艾默生的战略规划体系的"三重创新"使企业战略在增长与赢利、前瞻与学习、制定与执行、普遍与独特等方面达到协调和统一,从而驱动了公司赢利的长期持续增长。最后对战略规划创新与竞争优势的关系、大中型企业的战略决策模式进行了讨论,并探讨了艾默生经验对中国大中型制造企业战略规划与战略管理体系建设的启示。
This paper examines the development of the strategic planning system and its innovation of Emerson Group a world famous manufacturing firm which keeps almost 50 years sustainable profit- ability. First, it describes the historical development, content, process and time schedule of its strategic planning system, then analyses the three innovations of the system, ambidextrous content, integrated organizing process and unique planning tools. The paper sets up that the innovations have achieved the stra- tegic synthesis between growth and profitability, look forward and look back, formation and implementation , generalization and specialty, which drives its sustainable profitability in the last 50 years. Finally, the paper discusses the relationship between strategic planning system and competitive advantage, strategic decision making modes in middle and large firms and the application of Emerson's experience to Chinese middle and large manufacturing firms.
