The Relationship between Psychological Capital of Women Entrepreneurs and Venture Growth in Transition Economies

摘要 本文分析了影响女性创业企业发展的重要影响因素,发现积极心理资本对女性创业企业发展的预测力超过人力资本及社会资本对创业企业发展的预测力。对131位女性创业者的问卷调查结果表明,女性创业者的积极心理资本显著影响其创业发展,乐观、希望、韧性及自我效能等积极心理资本子构念,亦显著影响女性创业企业的发展。 Abstract:Currently China is in the economic transition period, during^which the women-owned enter- prises develop slowly than the men-owned enterprises. This paper analyzes important factors influencing the development of women-owned enterprise during economic transition. Through qualitative researches such as the coding analysis on in-depth interview data, it is found that in addition to the human capital and social capital factors put forward by previous researches, positive psychological capital of entrepreneurships is also an important factor influencing the development of women-owned enterprises during economie transition, which consists of such four sub-constructs as hope, optimism, toughness and self-efficacy of entrepreneurships. It is found after questionnaire survey on 131 women entrepreneurships that the positive psychological capital of women entrepreneurs in transition economies is in positive correlation with the development of entrepreneur enterprise, i.e. the more positive psychological capital a women entrepreneurships holds, the better entrepreneur development she will achieve; optimism, hope, resiliency and self-efficacy related to the positive psychological capital will also respectively be in correlation with the venture growth. And it is also found in the research that the predictive power of positive psychological capital to the development of entrepreneur enterprise is superior to that of human capital and social capital.
