Clinical Application of MRI in Diagnosis of Central Neurocytoma

目的:探讨MRI诊断中枢神经细胞瘤的临床应用价值。方法:回顾性分析5例中枢神经细胞瘤的MRI表现。结果:肿瘤均位于侧脑室,邻近透明隔,MRI上肿瘤实质部分呈等T1、等T2信号,内可见囊变区,增强扫描肿瘤呈不均匀轻度强化。结论:起源于侧脑室透明隔的肿瘤,应考虑到中枢神经细胞瘤的可能,MRI诊断中枢神经细胞瘤具有一定优势。

Objective： To investigate the clinical application value of MRI in diagnosis of central neurocytoma. Methods： MRI manifestations of 5 patients with central neuroeytoma were analyzed retrospectively. Results： All the tumors located in the lateral ventricle and near to the septum pellucidum. The parenchyma of the tumor displayed homeointensity on T1-weighted and T2-weighted MR images with cystic degeneration. Slightly heterogeneous in tense enhancement was observed on contrast-enhanced studies. Conclusion： Tumor that arises from the septum pel lucidum of lateral ventricle should he considered as central neurocytoma. MRI has significant advantage in the diano sis of central neurocytoma.
