Stalin＇s view on Marxism was mainly manifested on his reponses to the basic questions of Marxism. On the question of what the Marxism is, Stalin offered a clear definition to Marxism; analyzed the production and meanings of Marxism; pointed out the spirit of Marxism, explained the characteristic of Marxism, and studied the historical fortune of Marxism. On the question of how to treat Marxism, Stalin emphasized that we should study and know Marxism scientifically; apply it practically; strengthen the ducation of Marxist theory; enrich and develop Marxism in practice; and to be a genuine Marxist. Stalin＇ s view on Marxism has important historical and practical significances.
