Review of China's Studies on the Question of World History System in the 21st Century

改革开放30年来,中国世界史研究日益繁荣,在建设世界史新体系方面,提出了三种新史观:"世界史纵横发展整体史观"、"现代化史观"和"文化史观"。进入21世纪,国内学术界站在全球化的高度,围绕这三种新史观,从世界史学科新体系建立的必要和可能、全球化、全球史观和世界史学科建设、构建世界史新体系的几重困境和偏差等方面对构建科学合理的世界史新体系过程中的问题和不足进行了全面探讨和反思。

Since the polices of Reform and Open Door were put in practice, researches on world history have become more and more flourishing. In the field of constructing the world history system, three new historical views have been brought forward ： 1. the view of integrated historical development, both vertical and horizontal; 2. the view of modernization; and 3. the view of civilization. Since 21st century, Chinese academia entirely began to consider and discuss the questions and shortcomings of the three new historical views from possibility and necessity in constructing the world history system, the relationship within globalization, the view of global history and study of world history and some warps and morasses in constructing the world history system in view of globalization.
