摘要
本文引入布尔迪厄的资本理论分析小说《麦田里的守望者》中作家的艺术立场,阐明作家塞林格通过在文化场中"占位"和"区隔",将自身艺术创作列入高雅文化,同时进行艺术审美的"雅趣"生产,最终说明其艺术立场的实质是为了在文化场中获得合法地位,以期积累相应的各种资本。
Through the study on Salinger's attitudes towards various art forms in the novel The Catcher in the Rye, this paper argues that these attitudes betray Salinger's strategies of position--taking in the field of cultural production. While classfying his own works into high culture, Salinger also attempts to orientate readers'aethetic taste so as to legitimize his position and acquire more cultural and other capitals in the field of cultural production.
