The crisis, which was dubbed as ＂the Financial 9/11＂, not only resulted in an unprecedented global economic turbulence since the Great Depression in 1930s but also forced the world to readjust the main themes of the international relations after the ＂9/11 terrorist attack＂. Moreover, the global financial crisis and the economic recession happened exactly at a moment when the international situation and the international system were under historical evolution. The financial crisis intertwined closely with the current global political and security situation and exerted a significant and deep-seated influence on the latter.
