iming at the concrete problems on missshots appearing in the process of the pier dismantle blasting of Xiang River South Bridge in Changsha,through a thorough analysis this paper points out that the main causes of missshots lay in pier fissures,blastholes layout and finite media with multiple free faces,and puts forwards some preventive measures.
