摘要
为充分利用NSRL的200MeV电子束流,作者为通向核物理实验厅的束流输运线进行了初步物理设计计算.结果表明,在尽可能利用已有磁铁、只增加一块新四极铁的条件下可以达到设计要求。
In order to make fuller use of the 200 MeV electron beam at NSRL, the authors completed a preliminary physical design for a beam transport line leading to the Nuclear Physics Experiment Hall. Calculations indicate that the design goals can be achieved at a low cost, i.e., by applying the existing magnets to the largest extent, with only one additional quadrupole. Then the beam may be sent down to the target with a cylindrical quasi parallel shape of a diameter not greater than 7mm.
