Moodle LMS平台应用在高职高专英语网络课程建设的优点与不足

Moodle LMS平台作为目前世界上最为流行的学习管理平台之一(LMS-Learning Management System),其功能强大、操作简易,再加上免费开源,为高职高专英语网络课程建设大大降低门槛,使英语教师能够减少对计算机技术的依赖,更好地利用自身优势开发有特色的网络课程。本文通过笔者利用Moodle LMS平台进行英语课程建设的实践,向读者展示Moodle LMS平台在网络课程建设方面的优点和不足之处。最后,笔者还针对高职高专英语教学的特点,对英语网络课程的发展提出了个人的看法。

As one of the most popular LMSs （Learning Management System） in the world, the free and open-source Moodle＇s powerful functions, simplified operations have greatly lower the requirements of online English courses development. Thus, English teachers can focus on courses development without worrying about computer techniques. In this article, the authors use their own Moodle online English Course to demonstrate how to apply Moodle to the English courses development and teaching reform; the explore the advantages and disadvantages of Moodle in this process. Finally, the authors give their opinions on the future development of English online education for higher vocational education.
