目的对机械产品的功能和功能结构进行分析，提出产品的功能模型结构和组成．方法采用功能单元和功能特征对产品进行信息建模，建立产品的功能结构树和功能结构网络模型．结果给出了产品功能模型结构及特性、功能特征定义及表达，并通过实例对产品进行了功能分析．结论采用功能单元和功能特征建立的产品功能模型可以完整、清晰地表达产品内在和本质的功能关系，并能够对产品设计中的设计意图和设计知识进行表达．
