Implementation of Distributed Multimedia Collaboration System

分布式多媒体协同工作系统DMCS是基于CSCW协作机制设计的CSCW原型系统 .在提出DMCS功能目标的基础上 ,给出了系统的硬件结构和软件结构 ,并提出了一种基于协作任务代理的多用户协作模型 .在分析网络传输率、协作成员数及媒体信息量三者之间关系的基础上 ,提出了一种基于“镜头焦点”和“自由交互”相结合的交互模式 .最后 ,给出了协作过程的控制方法 .

Additional work is done to study the distributed multimedia collaboration system (DMCS) designed by the computer supported cooperative work (CSCW). Presented are the DMCS's function targets and the hard- and soft- ware architecture and the multi-user collaboration model based on coope-rative task agent. The relationship among the network transmission rate, collaboration members and interaction media is analyzed for a hybrid interaction mode that consists of a combination of the “len focus” and “free talk” mode. Collaboration procedure for the control method is also given.
