Study of monitoring iodized-salt situation in Suixian County in 2008

目的:为了解全县现阶段居民碘盐食用情况,及时发现问题并采取相应措施,保障全县人民食用合格碘盐及了解合格碘盐的使用率,有效预防碘缺乏病的发生。方法:根据《全国碘盐检测方案》,对居民户的碘盐进行随机抽查和结果判定。结果:全县碘盐覆盖率为97.64%,全县合格碘盐使用率为91.40%。结论:本地居民基本实现食用合格碘盐的目标。

Objective： To understand the Iodized-salt use situation in Suixian County to discover problem and adopt related measures to insure that people use qualified iodized-salt to effectively prevent iodine deficiency disorders（IDD）.Methods：Sampling and testing methods stipulated by the Scheme for National Iodinated Salt Surveillance were adopted to examine household iodized-salt quality.Results：Iodized-salt coverage rate of Suixian County was 97.64% and qualified iodized-salt use rate was 91.40%.Conclusion：Target of using qualified iodized-salt in local inhabitants has been basically realized.
