ATM局域网仿真技术是由ATM论坛提出的一种利用ATM网络支持数据通信业务的方法,而接入型ATM交换机则是实现该技术的一种理想平台.文章在分析ATM局域网仿真技术基本原理的基础上,结合接入型ATM交换机的体系结构,对局域网仿真技术在其中的实现方法进行了研究.

ATM LAN Emulation is a technology to support data communication service by making use of ATM network, which is put forward by ATM Forum. ATM access switch is a kind of desirable platform to support LANE system. In this paper, we analyze the principle of LAN Emulation technology and the architecture of ATM access switch, then study the implementation of LANE system in the first ATM access switch of the P. R. China.
