摘要 关于自然现象中飘雪的模拟一直是计算机图形学中最具挑战的问题之一。对于飘雪场景的模拟可以大大提高虚拟场景的逼真效果。在基于粒子系统的基础上,引入用温度变化来控制雪花大小和密度的算法,使场景模拟效果的真实性大大提高。同时,在分析雪花物理运动规律的基础上,提出了雪花的运动方程。通过恰当选择粒子数目,可以达到真实性和实时性要求。 Simulation of falling snow in natural phenomenon has always Oeen one of e most cnauengmg probls. Simulation of snowfall will improve lifelike qualities of virtual scene. The algorithm is based on particle system. It controls the size and density of snowflakes by the temperature change. Therefore it can greatly improve the fidelity of the scene. Meanwhile the algorithm is also based on the moving law of snowflakes. And it presents the equation of falling snow. By choosing particle quantity properly, the algorithm can meet the demand of reality and real-time.
