摘要
提出了认知语言学研究必须面对和解决的两个问题:(1)在语言研究中引入认知是本质上必要的吗?如果是,那么,(2)这种引入是如何可能的呢?本文力图从心理、生理以及认识论等多方面来回答这两个问题,我们认为:语言运用是综合语言能力与认知能力的结果,完备的语言运用只有在认知意义下才是自足的。而在认知与语言发生关系的过程中,概念结构起着中心作用,它一方面为语言形式提供认知内容,另一方面又制约语言形式。
Two basic issues which must be faced when one introduces cognition into linguisticsare put forward. The first is that is it essentially necessary to introduce cognitive results to lin- guistic research? lf it is, then the second is how can cognition be introduced into linguistics? These two questions are interpreted from several sides such as psychology, physiology and episte- mology. We believe that linguistic performance is the consequence of synthesizing linguistic capa- bility and cognitive capability, it is not sufficient within linguistics but sufficient in more wide cognitive range. Conceptual construct bridge the cognition and the linguistics, on the one hand, it provides the cognitive material for linguistic forms, on the other hand, it restricts the form of language.
