摘要
介绍了MPEG-2研究平台的设计与实现,该平台建立在硬件编解码器的基础上,能够对活动图象和声音进行实时压缩编解码,编码后的码流既可以直接送给硬件解码器实时解码。也可以保存到硬盘上供将来回放,同时该平台还提供了基于WindowsNT的用户界面,用户可以修改MPEG-2的各种编码参数,得到优化的系统性能。
The design and implementation of MPEG-2 research platform is discussed. Based on the hardware encoder , the platform can compress and decompress the video and audio signal in real time , the output stream of encoder can be delivered to decoder directly for real time decoding or be stored to hard-disk to playback in the future. In the meantime , an application based on Windows NT is also supplied , by which the user can change the parameters of encoding to achieve good performance.
