一年一度的国际海运（中国）年会，可谓“年年岁岁人相似，岁岁年年题不同”。每年11月，来自全球海运相关行业的各路精英汇聚一堂，就共同关心的话题进行思想的碰撞与观点的交锋，把脉行业发展大势，共谋未来发展大计。

World Shipping (China) Summit, an annual event for the international shipping circle jointly organised by COSCO, Drewry, JOC and Maritime China, with a view of strengthening international exchange and cooperation and promoting shipping development, has been held in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Dalian for five consecutive years from 2004 to 2008. The Summit is moving to Qingdao this year. Port of Qingdao is the largest iron ore receiving port and major container and tanker port. Qingdao is also trying to build itself into a shipping centre in northeast Asia, plus the host city of the Olympic Sailing Regatta last year. We believe the Summit 2009 will be another successful event for the international maritime community.
