Drug therapy progression on biliary tract carcinoma

胆道癌唯一可治愈的方法是完全的手术切除，然而仅有10％的患者才适合手术，在这些患者中，肿瘤复发率又很高，所以，对于大部分胆道系统癌患者来说，全身化疗就成为一种主要的治疗方法。虽然Ⅲ期临床随机研究很少，但是一致性的一线化疗方案正在出现，包括经典的细胞毒药物化疗和很有发展前景的靶向治疗。

Complete surgical resection offers the only chance for cure for biliary tract cancers; However,only 10% of patients are considered surgical candidates. Among those patients who undergo ＂curative＂ resection, recurrence rates are high ; thus, for the majority of patients with biliary tract cancer, systemic chemotherapy is the main treatment plan. Patients with unresectable or metastatic biliary tract cancer have a poor prognosis, and median overall survival time is less than one year. Despite lack of randomized phase Ⅲ data, consensus first-line systemic therapy is emerging,including classic cytotoxic chemotherapy and targeted therapy.
