黎族与高山族都有崇拜蛇的习俗，但其崇拜的蛇却并不一样。这种崇蛇图腾文化正是古代百越文化的滥觞。蛇图腾崇拜正是人类发展的最初阶段出现的最古老的宗教信仰形式。

Both Li Minority and Gaoshan Minority have the custom of worship of snakes, though they are different in the kind of snakes. The worship of snakes shows the flowage of ancient Baiyue culture. Worship of snake totem is the oldest religious format in the initial phase of human development.
